Artists in Focus: Paul Tamanian

First in a series of mini-exhibitions this fall at Thomas Deans Fine Art

Dates: September 16 – October 5 Paul Tamanian

(See all of Paul Tamanian's work in the gallery here.)

Paul Tamanian’s robust visual vocabulary has earned him a wide following in Atlanta and around the country. His abstract paintings on aluminum using a panoply of techniques and media attest to a restless creativity. Fire, water, and gravity, as well as rocks, pebbles, and many other items pressed into service play roles in the creation of his innovative and impressively beautiful work. This mini exhibition includes new paintings both large and small. In addition to its beauty and resilience, Paul notes of his work, “you can hang them inside or outside and even take them through the car wash.

The Yellow Door, a vertical painting with a big splash of yellow on a background like a million stars.
